Meditation Mornings - Free Virtual Meditation for School Staff
Looking for a strategy to help you face the challenges of the pandemic, e-learning and working from home? Join University of Illinois Extension Educator Michele Crawford for Meditation Mornings.

This six-week series will focus on the prana vayus. In the yoga tradition, prana is life force energy naturally found in all living things. The vayus work together harmoniously to support optimal health of mind and body. Through a balanced system of vital energy, we can develop the self-discipline and courage to become a positive force in our world, ultimately realizing our greatest potential. Through the practice of meditation and breathing techniques, we will unpack the unique gifts of each vayu individually, learning how to integrate their essential qualities into daily life.

• Week of May 3 – Apana Vayu
• Week of May 10 – Prana Vayu
• Week of May 17 – Samana Vayu
• Week of May 24 – Udana Vayu
• Week of May 31 – Vyana Vayu
• Week of June – 7 – Vayu wrap up

These 15 minute, virtual mediation sessions will take place Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.
